KVPI Wins Uniquely Louisiana Broadcast Award March 18, 2021 For the second year in a row, KVPI has won the "Uniquely Louisiana" award today (Thursday) at the Prestige Awards ceremony conducted by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters. KVPI-FM was awarded the honor for our coverage and support of Louisiana Swamp Pop music. Last year, we won for the La Tasse de Café Radio program. Also recognized at the awards ceremony was the late Jim Soileau who was inducted into the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame for his lifetime of broadcasting excellence over KVPI. Our special thanks to Polly Johnson with the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters from the entire staff at KVPI 92.5 FM, 107.3 and 1050 AM The Legend.
