Get Your 90's On by winning tickets to the 90's Remix Tour at the Cajundome

If you're a fan of 90's music, here's your change to go back in time to see Vanilla Ice and other big names. Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI is sending five of our listeners to the Cajun dome in Lafayette for the "90's Remix Tour" show. We Won

For the ninth year in a row, KVPI-FM 92.5, was honored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters with its "Radio Station of the Year" award for excellence in broadcasting. The radio station was recognized for its service to the community. This is the 11th time overall, KVPI-FM has been honored by the broadcasters of Louisiana. The award was presented at the annual Prestige Awards luncheon held today at the Doubletree Hotel in Lafayette. KVPI General Manager Mark Layne thanked the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters for this honor. In his statement, Layne said "I want to thank our great staff: Cheryl, Becky, Nancy, Jim, Charlie, Ashlee, Annona, Swabby, A.J., Danny J, Katie Jo, Lizzy, Mike along with our engineer Dave Graichen and our sports announcers: Tracey Jagneaux, Jeremy Jorden and Elliot West. They make my job easy. "Thank you to our cherished clients and wonderful listeners who support us. In closing, my special thanks to my boss: Dr. Rhonda Pucheu, the President of Ville Platte Broadcasting Company, a second generation broadcaster. She has always supported us and believed in community service."

Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI had its drawing of listeners who qualified to win tickets to "The Toughest Monster Truck" show this weekend at the Cajundome in Lafayette. Congratulations to our three winners who each won a family four pack of tickets for the show Saturday night: Whitney Arvie, Ramsey Berzas and Casey Benoit. Who wants to win tickets to the Toughest Monster Truck Tour Show at the Cajun dome?

Starting Monday, Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI will be qualifying listeners to win tickets to attend the "Toughest Monster Truck Tour" coming to the Cajun dome in Lafayette this Friday night and Saturday. When you hear the Monster truck sound effect, call us on the contest line at 337-506-2444. We'll take the first three callers getting through. One qualifier per family. Sacred Heart Baseball GAME OF THE Week starts Tuesday

KVPI Sports plans to broadcast the Sacred Heart High Baseball game of the Week starting Tuesday at 4:30pm. Sacred Heart will host Church Point at 4:30pm live over KVPI FM 92.5 with Sports Announcer Jeremy Jorden. Special thanks to all the Sacred Heart sponsors.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
