KVPI welcomes new Saturday announcer

KVPI FRENCH ANNOUNCER JUNE 25, 2021 KVPI is proud to announce a new member to our announcing staff: Robert Richard of Scott, Louisiana. Robert will take over the French announcing duties on Saturday mornings including the French News and Tradio. Robert is a native of Kaplan and a long time resident of Breaux Bridge. He is retired from the LSU Ag Center in 2009 and spent the next eight years as principal of Sts Peter and Paul Catholic School in Scott. Robert and his wife, Carla have four grown children and five grandchildren. Please join us in welcoming Robert Richard as a new member to the KVPI family of announcers.

KVPI is looking to hire a new part time DJ for weekend work

KVPI is accepting applications for a weekend position for a part time DJ. No experience is necessary. We will train the right candidate. This is ideal for the high school student. The candidate we are looking for must have dependable transportation, be computer literate and able to read well. Karlee Evans joins KVPI Family as office receptionist and weekend DJ

KVPI Father's Day Contest

Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI has teamed up with local sponsors to offer a special Grand Prize package to recognize one special father in our listening area. The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
