Ville Platte Broadcasting, the parent company of legacy stations, KVPI AM and FM, is now accepting resumes and applications for full-time and part time DJ positions. The full- time position includes a daily on-air shift, handling programming, contests, newscasts, promotions, production, and other responsibilities. Must be able to read well, be computer literate and have a knowledge of music. Part time positions including nights and weekends and ideal for students and retired individuals who love music. Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI is teaming up with L'Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge to send listeners to see Dennis DeYoung in concert May 18. Dennis DeYoung was the lead singer of Styx for all of their classic hit recordings and he will be performing them all for Styx fans. Here's how to qualify to win: Like this contest post, comment by mentioning your favorite Styx song, and sharing it with your friends. One qualifier per family. You must be 21 or older to qualify. Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
