DJ Hayley joins the KVPI family of Announcers

All of us at KVPI would like to make welcome the newest member of our on air staff: DJ Hayley. She will be the voice you will hear Sunday mornings on KVPI The Legend with the various religious programs. She will also DJ a Classic Country show Su0nday afternoons from 3;00-6;00pm on KVPI The Legend 107.3 FM and 1050 AM. Please help us welcome Hayley to the KVPI family.

Mamou High Cheerleaders visited KVPI Studios

The Mamou High School Cheerleaders visited KVPI studios today to record three special cheers including a customized KVPI cheer. The girls also sat in with DJ Karlee for a few minutes and did a live cheer during her radio show. Thank you to the 2022 Mamou High School Cheerleaders: Sarah Dupre, Lauren Manuel., Olivia Bruney, Hallie Guillory, Brianna Runnels, Alyssa Manuel, Madison Malvaux, Laniey Fontenot, Mylee Aguillard, Jacie Fontenot, Allenie Dick, Sydney Aguillard, Ellen Deshotel, Chloe Drummer, Ava Vidrine, Jaiden Richard, Payton Parker and Alaina Matte.

We have a winner in our Zydeco Festival Ticket Giveaway

Zydeco Festival September 1, 2022 Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI had a drawing of those who qualified on Facebook to win a pair of tickets to attend this year's 40th annual Original Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Festival in Opelousas. Congratulations to Kelly Deculus who won a pair of tickets to the festival. The kickoff dance is Friday night at Evangeline Downs and continues all day Saturday at the Yambilee Festival Grounds.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
