Visitors from Tele-Louisiane visited KVPI La Tasse de Cafe

We had Will, Katelyn and Brian from Tele-Louisiane visiting with Charlie and Annona this morning on La Tasse de Cafe. They belong to a group dedicated to promoting and supporting our French language and culture. KVPI is proud to team up with this group of young people because we have been supporting our French culture since 1953 when we signed on.

Congratulations to our KVPI 2019 Jazz Fest Ticket Winners

Jazz Fest Ticket Winners April 23, 2019 Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI would like to congratulate our five winners in our ticket giveaway to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival going on this weekend and next weekend. Our grand prize winners are: Jamie Arnold Reed, Bliss Boutee, Natalie Brignac, Ashley Leger Deville and Stephanie Washington Melvin. Each of our five winners have won a pair of one day passes to attend any day of the two weekend festival. Our drawing took place earlier this morning from the hundreds of qualifiers on our Facebook page. Our winners will enjoy seeing and hearing such legendary performers as Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffett, Santana, Van Morrison, Tom Jones, Earth, Wind and Fire and hundreds more. Congratulations to Grand Prize Winner in our Bud n Boiling contest

KVPI would like to congratulate our grand prize winner in our "Bud n Boilin" contest –Dennis Fontenot. Dennis was one of forty qualifiers in our contest. Qualifiers had to be the fifth caller into our contest line when they heard the beer can opening and beer pouring into the glass sound effect. Each qualifier won a 12 pack of Budweiser beer. Dennis has won Budweiser beer, a Budweiser ice chest, a sack of crawfish, boiling pot and burner kit compliments of KVPI 92.5 , South West Beverage Budweiser and Vidrine Ace Hardware. We want to thank everyone who called and qualified in our "Bud n Boilin"contest. Happy Easter from all of us at Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI.

Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI is teaming up with Southwest Beverage to qualify listeners every day for the 2019"Bud 'n" Boilin" contest. Each day we will qualify five lucky listeners for the grand prize drawing. The cue to call is the sound of the beer can tab being pulled off and beer being poured into a glass. Be caller 5 when you hear the cue to call. You must be 18 or older to qualify and one qualifier per family . We will have a drawing to choose our grand prize winner Wednesday April 17 at 3:00pm. Our winner will win Budweiser beer, crawfish, Ice chest and a crawfish boiling kit. Nothing goes better than a crawfish boil with a cold Budweiser listening to Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
