Five KVPI Winners Going to Louisiana Legends Show at Paragon Casino

 

   KVPI Classic Hits 92.5 gave away five pairs of tickets on Friday for the big Swamp Pop show coming to Paragon Casino Saturday night July 2. Congratulations to our winners: Mitch Perrodin, Kevin Scott Fontenot, Monica Thompson, Rhona Arnaud and Faye Mayeaux. Our KVPI winners will be there Saturday night to see Swamp Pop legends Johnnie Allan, Tommy McLain, GG Shinn, T.K. Hulin along with Louisiana Express. Congrats from all of us at Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI.

KVPI Father's Day Giveaway a Success and Winners are Chosen

KVPI held its Annual Father’s Day Giveaway and had some fun with listeners while doing it.  Listeners had to LIKE, SHARE and COMMENT on our FB post with the name of their father or the father of their children, along with a picture of their special man’s favorite piece of meat to cook on the grill.  We would like to thank Ville Platte Walmart, Industrial Service True Value Hardware, Paul’s Meat Market, Shop’s Grocery, Jack Miller’s Cajun Products, Cajun Catfish Kitchen, Southwest Beverage and Mikey’s Doughnuts for sponsoring our giveaway.  Congratulations to our winner for 2016: Shane Darbonne, nominated by Maria Darbonne, has won a Better Homes & Garden Gas Grill, 20 lbs of meat, a case of beer, dining gift certificate, Cajun seasoning, BBQ sauce and a box of doughnuts; and our Second Place Winner is Joshua Deshotels, nominated by Robin Deshotels.  He has won a fire ring, 10 lbs of meat, a case of beer, dining gift certificate, Cajun seasoning, BBQ sauce and a box of doughnuts.  Congratulations!  Keep listening for more chances to win on Acadiana’s Greatest Hits Station, Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
