KVPI Road Crew in Mamou Saturday for "A Day in the Park" Easter event

Join the KVPI road crew, Tobin and Mike, as they broadcast in Mamou Saturday from 11-1 over Classic Hits 92-5 KVPI at the Walking Park for "A Day in the Park" sponsored by the Mamou Police Department and the Town of Mamou. Jeff Foxworthy Ticket Winners March 28, 2023 Classic Hits 92-5 KVPI had our drawing of qualifiers to win tickets to comedian Jeff Foxworthy at his show Saturday night at the Rapides Parish Coliseum. You can listen to her morning show weekday mornings from 9:00-12 noon Monday through Thursday playing your favorite classic hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's and taking your requests. Third Eye Blind Contest Winners

Classic Hits 92-5 KVPI had a drawing of the more than 45 qualifiers to win tickets to see Third Eye Blind in concert Saturday night at Coushatta Casino resort Saturday night in Kinder. Congratulations to our five winners who each won a pair of tickets to the show: Connie Jagneaux, Liz Hill, Jada Simon, Crystal Clark May and Jamie O'Connor. Julia Johnson Interview

Tune in to KVPI FM 92-5 Wednesday at 12:30pm as we play back an interview with golf champion Julia Johnson, a native of Pine Prairie. She was a standout high school golfer winning three individual state championships. She attended Ole Miss and she became the most decorated female athlete in the history of Ole Miss athletics. While at Ole Miss, she led the Lady Rebels to the 2021 National Championship, the first in school history. She plans to participate in the National Women's Amateur Championship at Augusta. After the tournament, she plans to turn pro in April. The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
