KVPI Sports Update

KVPI Sports Update

 

    The Opelousas Catholic Vikings defeated Episcopal High last week in the state quarterfinals 2 games to one at home and broadcast live on Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI. The top ranked Vikings advance to play in the state baseball tournament at McMurray Park in Sulpher. Opelousas Catholic will take on #4 ranked Riverside Academy in the state semi final game Thursday morning at 10:00am. KVPI Sports plans to carry that game live over KVPI 1050 AM with Sports Announcer Micah Chatman. Should Opelousas Catholic win, they will advance to play in the state championship game Saturday at 5:00pm. Good luck to the Vikings.

KVPI Sports Update

KVPI Sports plans to cover the Opelousas Catholic High School Vikings as they advance to play in the state quarterfinals this weekend at home. The Vikings will be hosting Episcopal High Friday at 4:00pm, Saturday at 11;00am and if need be a third game at 2;00pm live on KVPI FM 92.5 and on classichits925.com. KVPI Sports Announcer Micah Chatman will be doing play by play.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
