La Tasse Reunion was a Big Success Wednesday Night

Despite the rainy weather outside, the annual La Tasse de Cafe Reunion gathering was a big success. The dining area in the rear of Main Street Pizza in Ville Platte was packed with friends, well wishers and listeners of the popular radio program. Listeners from Prairie Rhonde, Mamou, Eunice and other areas attended. Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine and City Councilman Mike Perron welcomed the crowds. Police Juror Eric Soileau from Mamou was also there. One of the highlights were the students from mamou Elementary enrolled in the French Immersion program along with the three Immersion Teachers. The students led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance in French and sang "The Mardi Gras song.

Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI was at McDonald's in Ville Platte today

The Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI road crew was at your Ville Platte McDonald's restaurant today to help promote their Grand Reopening. The restaurant has had a complete facelift, inside and out, with new features like new touch screen kiosks and table service. Plus they are registering to give away great prizes a $50 McDonald's gift card, Himalayan Cooler and Tumblers and KVPI T Shirts. Thanks to everyone who came by and said hello during our broadcast.

The Classic Hits 92.5 Road Crew will be at McDonald's in Ville Platte Monday for their Grand Re-Opening

The Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI road crew will be broadcasting live on remote Monday for the Grand Re-Opening of McDonald's in Ville Platte. The local restaurant has had a complete facelift. To celebrate the event, McDonalds is offering daily $5 meal special Monday through next weekend . The Monday meal special is a Big Mac meal for $5. Come in and register to win a Himalayan Performance Cooler and two tumblers along with KVPI T Shirts and McDonalds food coupons. We will be on the air from 11-1 during the lunch hour. WWE SmackDown LIVE Contest Winners Announced

KVPI teamed up with the WWE and Cajundome to send three lucky listeners to see WWE SmackDown LIVE at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA on Tuesday, September 11th. Our random drawing was held this afternoon. Congratulations to our two Facebook winners: Cameron Mosely and Shelly Menard Royer. They each won a pair of tickets to the show. Congratulations to our on-air winner: Lorrie Taffi. She won a family four pack of tickets to experience WWE live. Mamou High Cheerleaders visit KVPI Studios to record Cheers

The Mamou High School Cheerleaders visited KVPI studios this afternoon to record special cheers including a custom Classic 92.5 KVPI cheer. The cheers will air throughout football season. During their visit, they had a chance to get on the air with DJ Josh this afternoon to do a special shoutout to our listeners. Go Mamou High Cheerleaders and best of luck to the Mamou High Green Demons this season.

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
