2019 Boudin Bowl Winners Announced

The 11th Annual Boudin Bowl took place in Ville Platte and was aired on Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI with the team of Tracey Jagneaux and Tim Fontenot. The New England Minutemen defeated the New Orleans Who Dats 26-20. KVPI would like to thank all our listeners for participating and to all our great sponsors. It's Boudin Bowl 11 Wednesday night at 6:00pm live on 92.5 KVPI FM with the New Orleans Who Dats taking on the New England Minutemen. Listen to the KVPI Sports Team Tracey Jagneaux and Tim Fontenot live from Ville Platte. We're going to be giving away prizes in our Boudin Bowl football pool. All day Monday we will taking the names of listeners winning free squares in the pool.

Sacred Heart Students record Catholic Schools Messages

National Catholic Schools Week is January 28-February 2. We had two students from Sacred Heart High School visited KVPI studios today to record special messages that will run throughout the week on both KVPI 1050 AM The Legend and KVPI FM Classic Hits 92.5. They were Julianne Reed and Evyn Soileau accompanied by Sacred Heart School Development Director Kimberly LeJeune.

Cafe Evangeline Giveaway Winner Announced

Cafe Evangeline presents the band Courtbouillon featuring Wayne Toups, Steve Riley, and Wilson Savoy on Friday, January 18th. This event is sold out, but KVPI had tickets for a table for two. These tickets (value of over $200) includes the live musical entertainment, a meal, and drinks. This week, when listeners heard the Steve Riley cue to call, they called the contest line to be entered into the drawing for a chance to win. We are excited to announce that the drawing took place this afternoon and the winner is Ashley Fontenot. Congrats and enjoy your night at Cafe Evangeline!

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
