The week of January 30-Feb. 4 is National Catholic Schools Week. KVPI salutes our local catholic schools. Listen for special messages all this week from Sacred Heart School students for Catholic Schools Week.

LUCKY LISTENERS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO SEE WAYNE TOUPS IN CONCERT

KVPI and Paragon Casino & Resort teamed up to send lucky listeners to see Good Ole’ Wayne Toups in concert in February.  Callers listened for the Wayne Toups Cue to Call and we took callers 1, 2, & 3 to be entered into our drawing.  Friday our drawing was held and our five lucky winners are: Wendy Granger, Mable Glover, Jason Fontenot, Peter Soileau and Toni Aguilard.  Each winner picked up two tickets to get into the show.  Congratulations!  Keep listening for more chances to win on Classic Hits 92.5!

Six Winners Going to see the Globetrotters Compliments of Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI

Congratulations to our six winners in KVPI's Harlem Globetrotter ticket giveaway. We had our listeners text the word "basketball" at our Text to Win number. Our drawing was held Thursday afternoon. Congratulations to Scott Dupre ,  Courtney Edwards , Cole Lalonde, Della Fontenot, Maria Darbonne and Dusty Barzar. Each of our winners won a pair of tickets to see the original Globetrotters in action this Sunday afternoon at the Cajundome in Lafayette compliments of your station with more contests.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
