We Won!! KVPi won two awards today at the Louisiana Association of Broadcaster's Prestige Awards luncheon in Baton Rouge showcasing excellence in broadcasting. We won the 2024 "Radio Station of the Year"honors and the "Uniquely Louisiana " award for our French language programming. Representing KVPI and Ville Platte Broadcasting Company at the awards banquet are from left : Ray Duplechain, Ethan Moser, Mallory Moser, Misty Parker, Rhonda Pucheu, the president of Ville Platte Broadcasting Company and John Pucheu. We want to thank Polly Johnson and her co workers for these awsrds and for doing a super job in supporting and promoting radio and tv stations all over Louisiana. We had the entire Sacred Heart High School Girls Basketball team along with their coach visit us very early this morning to record a special interview about their amazing season.
