KVPI Wins Two Awards Friday from the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters

We Won!! KVPi won two awards today at the Louisiana Association of Broadcaster's Prestige Awards luncheon in Baton Rouge showcasing excellence in broadcasting. We won the 2024 "Radio Station of the Year"honors and the "Uniquely Louisiana " award for our French language programming. Representing KVPI and Ville Platte Broadcasting Company at the awards banquet are from left : Ray Duplechain, Ethan Moser, Mallory Moser, Misty Parker, Rhonda Pucheu, the president of Ville Platte Broadcasting Company and John Pucheu. We want to thank Polly Johnson and her co workers for these awsrds and for doing a super job in supporting and promoting radio and tv stations all over Louisiana. We give all the credit to our fantastic staff: Misty Parker, Mallory Moser, Ray Duplechain, Mike Perron, Jackie Miller, Britney Speyrer, Swabby Soileau, Tobin Deville, Gabe Fontenot, J.C.Nichols, Bert Miller, Fannie Soileau, Robert Richard and our engineer Dave Graichen. Thank you to our wonderful clients and advertisers who have supported us through the years. Finally thank you to our cherished listeners who listen every day and support our efforts to serve Ville Platte, Evangeline Parish and all of Acadiana. After 70 years years, we're still "Keeping Ville Platte Informed and Entertained ".

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
