At the Ville Platte Recreational Complex today: Girls’ softball 5:30- Glowworms vs. Butterflies and Bunnies vs. Pups; 6:45pm -LadyBugs vs. Dragonflies and Fillies vs. Fawns.   Dixie Youth: 10-year-old Dixie Minors: 5:15pm- Aces vs. Cubs and 6:45pm- Bees vs. Dots.  Coach Pitch and Tee Ball 5:30pm- Clubs vs. Elks.

 

 We will continue qualifying listeners to win tickets to see “Tower of Power” coming to Coushatta Casino in Kinder Saturday May 4. Listen for your cue to call at 337-506-2444 to qualify for the big drawing on Tuesday, April 30. One qualifier per family. You must be 21 or older.

 

The City of Ville Platte City Wide Clean Up Day is Saturday. Meet at Ville Platte City Hall at 9:30am.

 

Tune into the Hour of Power Radio Show at 7:30am Sunday with Gloria Sonnier followed at 8:30am with the broadcast of the Mass at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church on KVPI The Legend 107.3 FM and 1050 AM.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
