Boggy Bayou Festival Queen Madison Fasske visited KVPI studios today

We had royalty visit our KVPI studios today. Boggy Bayou Festival Queen #37 Madison Fasske of Dequincy recorded an interview that we will play back Wednesday May 10 at 12:30pm for this year's Boggy Bayou Festival. She will be crowning her successor Saturday afternoon May 13 at the festival. She is in college now preparing to be an educator.. Congratulations Madison for representing the festival in your journeys through the state this past year.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
