Part Time French Announcer is needed at KVPI

Help Wanted-French Announcer April 7, 2021 KVPI is wishing to hire an additional part time announcer to handle the French News and Tradio on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be able to speak French well and be able to translate English news and commercial copy into French. We need someone to work Saturday mornings from 7:00am to 8:00am. The announcer will be do the 7:30am French News every Saturday along with the Tradio (Trading Post) program. The chosen applicant will join a team of professionals dedicated at preserving our French language and heritage for future generations. KVPI has been recognized by broadcasters and news journals for our leadership in French language programming since we first signed on in 1953. Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
