KVPI receives broadcasting award from Polly Johnson with La. Association of Broadcasters

Today, we had the pleasure of greeting Polly Johnson, President and C.E.O. of the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters to KVPI. She personally delivered our award we won at the recent Prestige awards event. KVPI-FM won for the second year in a row the "Uniquely Louisiana" award for our coverage of Swamp Pop music through the years. Shown in the second photo are staff announcers: Deet and Rose Wolf checking out our new award. She also brought the coveted Hall of Fame award honoring the late Jim Soileau. We plan to present the award to Jim's family next week. Thank you, Polly for all you for the the broadcasters in Louisiana.
