Would you join me in welcoming the newest member to the KVPI family of announcers? Please welcome DJ Lauren who will handle the Saturday afternoon shift from 12 noon to 6;00pm playing your favorite Classic Hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's. She will become a third generation DJ over KVPI. Her grandfather Nick Soileau worked as a DJ back in the 70's. Her great grand father, Jim Soileau, was among the first DJ's when the station first signed on in 1953 , later became general manager and is still working with us as a French announcer.
