KVPI Top Story

Welcome DJ Lauren to the KVPI Family

Would you join me in welcoming the newest member to the KVPI family of announcers? Please welcome DJ Lauren who will handle the Saturday afternoon shift from 12 noon to 6;00pm playing your favorite Classic Hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's. She will become a third generation DJ over KVPI. Her grandfather Nick Soileau worked as a DJ back in the 70's. Her great grand father, Jim Soileau, was among the first DJ's when the station first signed on in 1953 , later became general manager and is still working with us as a French announcer. Welcome Lauren.
