2019 Boudin Bowl Winners Announced

The 11th Annual Boudin Bowl took place in Ville Platte and was aired on Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI with the team of Tracey Jagneaux and Tim Fontenot. The New England Minutemen defeated the New Orleans Who Dats 26-20. KVPI would like to thank all our listeners for participating and to all our great sponsors. Congratulations to this year's winners:

 

1st quarter pool winner: Kevin Ardoin (Sandwich tray from Cafe de LaSalle, Jack Miller's BBQ gift set, Zydeco Chop Chop, 5 pounds of pork sausage from Teet's Food Store, beer from Southwest Beverage, and a KVPI t-shirt)

 

2nd quarter pool winner: Geneva Lartigue (Fixings for hen gumbo at Paul's Meat Market, 5 pounds of boudin from T-Boy's, king cake from Mikey's Donuts, Jack Millers BBQ gift set, Zydeco Chop Chop, beer from Southwest Beverage, and a KVPI t-shirt)

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
