Classic Hits 92.5 will be broadcasting live at the Creole Families Bastille Day Saturday

The 2016 Creole Families Day festival is planned for this Saturday July 16 from 9-2 inside the Ville Platte Northside Civic Center. There will be food, music, a Catholic Mass conducted in our beautiful French language by Fr. Jason Vidrine, special addresses by noted authorities on our Creole heritage right here in Evangeline Parish. Bring the whole family and learn more about your roots. Be proud of our Creole and Cajun culture. KVPI FM 92.5 will be broadcasting live on remote from 10-12 noon. Come join us.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
