Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Investigating Cause of Death

 

      Evangeline Parish authorities are investigating the cause of death of an elderly woman. A spokesman for Evangeline Parish Sheriff Eddie Soileau, Chief of Detectives Billy Wolff,  said deputies discovered the body of an elderly woman in a rural area in the northern part of the parish this(Monday) morning. The identity of the person has been withheld until notification of the next of kin. The body has been turned over to the Coroner’s office for an autopsy. No other details were available at this time.
