Rape Charges Filed on Ville Platte Man by City Police

On September 18, 2013 the Ville Platte Police Department received a report of an adult behaving inappropriately with a juvenile.  Detectives conducted an investigation and upon completion of the investigation arrested Javona Rose, 18 of 1317 West Beech Street, Ville Platte.  Rose was booked into the Ville Platte City Jail on September 18, 2013 and charged with aggravated rape of a juvenile.  Rose was transferred to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $250,000.00 bond set by Judge John Larry Vidrine.
