Pine Prairie Police Arrest Two Suspects in Home Burglary

    Pine Prairie Police Chief L.C. Deshotel reports that his department arrested two Ville Platte residents in connection with the burglary of a residence in Pine Prairie on July 16. The suspects were identified as Kevin Argestsinger and Sheila Charlie of 2440 4th Street, Ville Platte. They were charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, theft of over $500 and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. According to the police report, the suspects entered a residence at the 1400 block of Magnolia Street and removed several items that did not belong to the suspects. The suspects then auctioned several items stolen from the home and recovered by police. Judge Tom Fuselier set their bond at $10,000 each.
