New Savoy Medical Center C.E.O. speaks at Rotary Meeting November 2, 2021 New Savoy Medical Center C.E.O. Lance Armentor was the guest speaker at today's (Tuesday) meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club. He replaces former C.E.O. Gene Burge who has retired after 39 years with the hospital. Armentor, a resident of Lake Charles said his wife, Samantha is from the Ville Platte area and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. He and his wife are the parents of five children. He was the former Vice President of Operations at Oschner Medical in Lake Charles. His plans include bring additional specialists and services to Savoy Medical Center. He introduced Otis Johnson who will oversee the new "Beyond Horizons" Rehab unit. The 24 bed unit will begin accepting patients in 30 days. The new program is scheduling an open house Thursday at noon. It will be located on the second floor of Savoy Medical Center. Also attending the meeting were Savoy Medical Center Chief Operating Officer Danny LaHaye and Marketing Director Jackie Riche'.

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
