Turkey Creek Police arrest Mamou resident

On July 30, 2021 Officers with the Turkey Creek Police department made contact with Regina Grant of Mamou. After a brief discussion Mrs. Grant was found to be in possession of presumed Crystal Meth and one glass pipe used for smoking the presumed meth. Mrs. Grant was placed into custody and transported to the Evangeline Parish jail for charges pertaining to narcotics. Turkey Creek Police Department is continuously striving to make Turkey Creek a safer place for our community and as always Chief Steven Ardoin would like to thank the public for their continued support and to report all suspicious activity and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
