Chamber Director Tobin Deville guest speaker at Rotary Meeting

Ville Platte Rotary Club meeting January 19, 2021 The Ville Platte Rotary Club today (Tuesday) heard from guest speaker, Tobin Deville, executive director of the Evangeline Parish Chamber of Commerce. He spoke about his early radio career at KVPI, his move to Boise, Idaho and later his work in leadership training to groups. Deville reminded club members about the "Refresh, Rebuild and Reconnect" kickoff Saturday to help cleanup downtown Ville Platte. Volunteers are asked to meet for the project beginning at 8:30am. He announced that a number of businesses have joined in the effort including the Wyble Collection, Care and Share Center and Ardoin Salvage. Deville also touched on a number of subjects including improving customer service. He was the special guest of Rotarian Bob Manuel.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
