Drug Arrest December 22, 2020 Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles R. Guillory reported to KVPI News that a traffic stop led to the arrest of suspects on drug charges. Last Friday, December 18, the Sheriff's Department Criminal Patrol Unit stopped a vehicle on King Vehicle road at Booker T Road on a traffic violation. When deputies walked up to the vehicle, they saw narcotics in plain view. The two vehicle occupants were arrested and charged: Darius Armando Arvie age 26 of Te Mamou Road, Vile Platte and Myles Anthony Handy age 26 of Houston, Texas were each charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
