Two people arrested on drug charges by Turkey Creek Police

Turkey Creek Drug Arrests December 6, 2020 Two people were arrested on drug charges after being stopped by Turkey Creek Police Saturday night. Turkey Creek Chief of Police Shawn Eckhart reported to KVPI news, a vehicle was stopped for a minor equipment violation, no license plate light. Following a field interview with the driver and the passenger, a female officer was summoned to assist in the arrest. Luis Daniel Nazzario age 24 of Esterwood, the driver of the vehicle was booked in the Evangeline Parish Jail for illegal possession of a schedule one controlled dangerous substance, marijuana and illegal possession of a controlled dangerous substance within a drug free zone. The passenger, Aleisha Danelle Frey age 20 of Egan was booked into the Evangeline Parish jail for illegal possession of a schedule one controlled dangerous substance, marijuana, illegal possession of a controlled dangerous substance within a drug free zone and obstruction of justice. Chief Eckhart reminds the public to report all suspicious activity by calling 337-363-3347 or 911 for emergencies. All callers will remain anonymous.
