Due to the approaching hurricane, KVPI News has received the following: All Evangeline Parish Public Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday for teachers, students and certain employees. All campus administrators, custodians and cafeteria staff members,, pupil appraisal, maintenance staff and district office personel are expected to report at their regular time on Thursday. This according to School Supt. Darwan Lazard. Bishop Deshotel announced that all Catholic Schools in the Lafayette Diocese including Sacred Heart Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday. There will no High School Coach's show tonight at the Crawfish Barn. Also there will be no High School Football Game of the Week this week all because of cancelled football games.
