Correction to Police Jury Meeting Story

CORRECTION MARCH 4, 2020 KVPI News would like to make a correction to a news story that we aired and posted on our social sites for Monday's Evangeline Parish Police Jury Meeting. The story quoted Evangeline Parish Sheriff Elect Charles Guillory commenting on the limited budget he will have when he takes office based on his millage. Our story originally stated "In comparison, the Evangeline Parish Public Library has a millage tax that brings in that brings in 5.21 million dollars.". The quote should have read "The Evangeline Parish Library has a millage tax of 5.21 mills that brings in 1.2 million dollars." We regret the error to our listeners and readers.
