Authorities are investigating On-Line Threat at Ville Platte High School

KVPI News has received the following news bulletin from the Evangeline Parish School Board: Today at 3:05pm, the principal at Ville Platte High School received an anonymous on-line threat regarding that campus. Law enforcement officials were immediately informed and are actively investigating the matter. Additional measures are being put into place by our law enforcement partners and school officials to ensure the safety and security of Ville Platte High School's faculty, staff, students and other stakeholders.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
