Ville Platte Police arrest burglary suspect

Ville Platte Police Chief Neal Lartigue reports arrest for simple burglary

 An arrest has been made in a burglary reported in November of 2017. According to the report a hot water heater was stolen from a house on Park Ave in Ville Platte.  After gathering information and evidence, Detectives issued a warrant for Casey Lane Tate 29 of 115 South Soileau Street, Ville Platte.  Tate was arrested on February 26, 2018 on the charge of simple burglary.   Tate was transferred to the Evangeline Parish Jail on a $7,500.00 bond. 

 Chief Lartigue reminds citizens to report suspicious or illegal activity, call the Ville Platte Police Department at 363-1313.  Your call will remain anonymous.
