A large group of women attended the event and each received a big full of educational information. Kate Labue with Susan G. Komen urged women to get their mammograms. Brenda Viggers of Turkey Creek gave an inspirational talk on how getting a mammogram and finding cancer early saved her life. The staff of Evangeline Family Medicine gave her a bouquet of flowers.
