Classic Hits 92.5.5 KVPI was in Mamou Saturday for the Savoy Cancer Center Breast Cancer Walk

One of the largest crowds ever jammed into downtown Mamou this morning to join with Savoy Cancer Center and its sponsors for the annual benefit walk/run. All of the funds raised from this 5K walk/run help indigent cancer patients.

The weather was perfect as teams gathered on Sixth Street in Mamou across from Fred’s Lounge to begin the walk and run. There was a Zumba warm up and the cancer survivors were recognized.

The Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI road crew, Becky Vidrine and Carly Chaumont covered the event live for listeners who could not attend. Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI was a corporate sponsor for the event.
