The Evangeline Council on Aging will hold its Annual Meeting on September 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the dining room at Village de Memoire. All interested parties as well as all members of the Council on Aging are invited to attend. There are currently 4 vacant Board seats to be filled. Those seats should be filled by people who reside in Police Jury District 2, 3, 4 and 9, one member from each district. All nominations for Board members should be forwarded to Lisa DeRouen at 337-363-5161.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and
Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
Admission charge is $3 adults,
$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on
Northwest Railroad Avenue.
