TWO VILLE PLATTE FIREFIGHTERS HIT 25 YEAR MILESTONE

The Ville Platte Fire Department would like to congratulate Assistant Fire Chief, Blake Perron and Firefighter, Dwayne Soileau for their 25 years as Louisiana State Firemen’s Association members, and 25 years as Volunteers with the Ville Platte Volunteer Fire Department.   With this milestone, they both became lifetime members of the Louisiana State Firemen’s Association.  

 

Fire Chief, Chris Harrison said "Congratulations from the entire department.  The community appreciates your hard work and dedication to the fire service."  KVPI would like to thank the Ville Platte Fire Department for their dedication to the community.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
