ANNUAL VFW POPPY DRIVE TO TAKE PLACE SATURDAY IN VILLE PLATTE

Saturday, May 6th is the VFW Annual Poppy Drive in Ville Platte from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the following locations: Lasalle and Tate Cove; Lincoln and Tate Cove; and Hickory and Chataigner. All funds are used to assist Veterans in need, young and old. Any donations are welcome. Call Hillary Hill at 363-1938. If you are a veteran and you would like to volunteer or be a part of the drive, please meet them at the Veteran’s Home between 7:00 and 7:30 Saturday.

 

This is a beautiful way to support our Veterans.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
