ARREST MADE IN SUNDAY'S SHOOTING THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A VILLE PLATTE WOMAN - INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

According to Ville Platte Chief of Police, Neal Lartigue, on April 25, 2017 a warrant of arrest was issued and a suspect arrested in the shooting that occurred on April 23 on North Chataignier and East Jackson.  Tiberrious Wilson, 19 of 128 East Pine Street was arrested on the evening of April 25, 2017 and booked into the Ville Platte City Jail on the charges of second degree murder, attempted second degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrument and carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon.   Wilson was transported to the Evangeline Parish Jail where he remains incarcerated on a 1,425,000.00 (One million four hundred twenty-five thousand dollar) bond issued by Judge Chuck West.
