KVPI'S MARCH 2017 TEACHER OF THE MONTH IS NAMED

Out of the nominees submitted, the KVPI March 2017 Teacher of the Year was chosen Tuesday and we send a big “Congratulations” out to Mr. Saul Duos, a 4th Grade Teacher at Mamou Elementary.  Mr. Duos was nominated by his student, Kelci Fontenot.

She wrote in her nomination:

“Mr. Saul, you are the best teacher I have ever had.  You are a little crazy, but you’re the best that way.  Do you know what I wish for?  I wish when I go to a new school, you could move with me like when I go to 5th grade.  You could come and teach me in every grade bot just in 5th.  Just a reminder, your haircut is still cute even if you don’t barely have any hair.  If you can’t be my teacher forever, then promise me you’ll never change.”

-Kelci Fontenot

Congratulations to Mr. Duos, who is now eligible for our Teacher of the Year drawing in May.  Our Teacher of the Month will be coming to pick up his prizes Friday afternoon.
