KVPI Announces February Teacher of the Month

Classic Hits 92.5 would like to congratulate our February Teacher of the Month, Amber Aymond.  She is a fourth grade teacher at Mamou Elementary and she was nominated by Leah Bertand who wrote in her nomination “She wanted to be a teacher since the age of 4.  She devotes herself to her students and I have seen this first hand.  She spends a lot of her evenings, weekends and holidays preparing lesson plans, grading tests and coming up with new and fun ways to keep her students interested in learning.  She makes herself available to speak with her students and parents at any time.  She takes great pride in being a teacher with a repeated score of “highly effective” by her superiors.  I have no doubt she is fulfilling her calling in life by teaching our children.  Parents can be sure that if she is your child’s teacher she will give them her all.  And with all this being said, I believe she deserves to be Teacher of the Month."

Ms. Aymond came to the KVPI studios today and claimed her prizes.  KVPI would like to thank it’s sponsors for the Teacher of the Month and Teacher of the Year Contests: Cajun Catfish Steakhouse, Mae’s Flowers, Family Hair and Gifts, St. Landry Cinema, McDonalds and Zydeco Chop Chop
