Ville Platte Police Department Arrest Report

According to the Ville Platte Police Department, the following individuals have recently been arrested and booked into the City Jail:

 

Maurice Jack, age 44 of N. Latour – arrested for Disturbing the Peace and currently incarcerated with a $200.00 bond;

 

Monquart Serie, age 27 of 3 Sister Road – arrested for Disturbing the Peace/Resisting an Officer and currently incarcerated with a $950.00 bond;

 

Daniel Coriel, age 36 of High School Drive – arrested for Possession of Marijuana/Prohibited Acts and out on a $5,000.00 bond;

 

Cardell Edwards, age 33 of W. Desota – arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery and out on a $1,000.00 bond;

 

Tara Soileau, age 29 of E. Jackson – arrested for Criminal Mischief and out on a $500.00 bond;

 

Brandon Leday, age 32 of Cotton Street – arrested for Remaining after Forbidden and currently incarcerated with a $500.00 bond;

 

Sandricka Doucet, age 29 of Kembo – arrested for Simple Battery and out on a $1000.00 bond; and

 

Ricky Anderson, age 37 of 1st Street – arrested for Simple Criminal Damage to Property/Simple Battery and 4 counts of Resisting an Officer – out on a $4,700.00 bond

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
