Ville Platte Police Department Arrest Report

According to Police Chief, Neal Lartigue the following individuals have recently been arrested and booked into the City Jail:

 

Ricky Fontenot, age 47 of East Pine – arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Drunkenness and currently incarcerated with a $200.00 bond;

 

Paul Bertrand, age 33 of MLK Drive – arrested for Simple Possession of Marijuana and Disturbing the Peace and currently incarcerated with a $2,700.00 bond;

 

Jessica Williams, age 23 of N. Coreil – arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting and out on a $200.00 bond;

 

Martha Thomas, age 53 of W. Desota – arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting and out on a $200.00 bond;

 

Dewayne West, age 44 of Rozas Street – arrested for No Reflective Gear/Prohibited Acts/Flight and Obstruction and currently incarcerated with a $3,650.00 bond;

 

Joseph Fontenot, age 19 of Tate Street – arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting and out on a $200.00 bond;

 

Ebony Skinner, age 26 of Young Street – arrested for Simple Battery and out on a $1,000.00 bond;

 

Ronald Durgin, age 39 of Pine Point - arrested for Simple Battery and out on a $1,000.00 bond;

 

Michael Jones, age 53 of N. Latour – arrested for Simple Battery and out on a $1,000.00 bond;

 

Danielle Augustine, age 30 of SW RR – arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting and out on a $200.00 bond; and

 

Rodriquez Fontenot, age 37 of Wilson – arrested for Simple Battery and out on a $1,000.00 bond.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
