According to the Ville Platte Police, the following individuals have recently been arrested and booked into the City Jail:

Edward Lionel Lomas, 26 of E. Cotton Street, Ville Platte – Arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery and currently incarcerated with a $1,000.00 bond;

Precious Thomas of N. Chataignier, Ville Platte – Arrested for Remaining After Forbidden/ Disturbing the Peace and currently out on a $700.00 bond;

Jaonnie Arvie, 28 of Deroun Street, Ville Platte – Arrested for Remaining After Forbidden and currently incarcerated with a $500.00 bond;

Edith Mercer, 31 of Brandy Street, Ville Platte – Arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting/Simple Battery and currently incarcerated with a $2,400.00 bond;

Precious Thomas, of N. Chataignier, Ville Platte – Arrested for Theft of Goods and currently out on a $500.00 bond; and

Skyla Thomas, 29 of E. Wilson, Ville Platte – Arrested for Theft of Goods and currently out on a $500.00 bond.
