Parish President Reinstates OEP Director

President of The Evangeline Parish Police Jury, Ryan Ardoin, has reinstated 911 Director, Liz Hill, back in to the dual role of Office of Emergency Preparedness Director.  KVPI News has spoken with Ardoin who says he feels it was the “right thing to do.”  He stated “Ms. Hill has worked very hard for the Parish and is very good at what she does.  She has not done anything wrong or out of the ordinary and I believe she needs to remain in the position.”  Ms. Hill resigned from the position during an open Police Jury meeting Monday after what numerous Jurors describe as a “minor situation blown out of proportion.”  Ardoin reports that Ms. Hill has agreed to continue her work with the Jury.  Tune in Friday at Noon as we sit down and talk to the Parish President about the situation and other things happening in Evangeline Parish.
