Ville Platte Police Department Arrest Report

According to the Ville Platte Police, the following individuals have recently been arrested and booked into the Ville Platte City Jail:

 

Keiara Calvin, Age 21 – arrested for Disturbing the Peace and Simple Battery and is currently out on a $950.00 bond;

 

Murphy Lemelle, Age 35 – arrested for Disturbing the Peace by Intoxication, Theft, Remaining After Forbidden, Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Mischief and Prohibited Acts and is currently out on a $4,800.00 bond;

 

Christopher Ducote, Age 37 – arrested for Discharging a Firearm and is currently out on a $2,500.00 bond;

 

Kizzy Fontenot, Age 36 – arrested for Improper Suspension/x2 and currently out on a $500.00 bond;

 

Bonnie Leday, Age 53 – arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery, Simple Battery and Resisting an officer and is currently incarcerated;

 

Darlene Jackson, Age 43 – arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery, Prohibited Acts and Resisting an Officer and is currently incarcerated;

 

Sunnie Veillon, Age 31 – arrested for Theft of Goods and Misrepresentation during Booking and is currently out on a $700.00 bond;

 

Gladys Pleasant, Age 50 – arrested for Remaining After Forbidden and is currently incarcerated;

 

Joseph Morgan, Age 27 – arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery and currently out on a $1,000.00 bond; and

 

Douglas Fontenot, Age 17 – arrested for Distribution with Intent to Distribute and Paraphernalia and currently incarcerated on a $5,000.00 bond.

Swamp Pop music

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville  Platte is open to the public every Friday and

Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
 

Admission charge is $3 adults,

$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on

Northwest Railroad Avenue.
