NOMINEES FOR BUSINESS AND BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR

    The Ville Platte Chamber of Commerce has released the nominees for Ville Platte Business and Business Person of the Year. Chamber members will vote on their choices in each category and the winners will be announced at the annual Chamber Awards banquet set for Thursday May 3.

    The nominees for 2012 Business of the Year: The Cock’s Tail, Cajun Smokehouse, Kary’s Roux, Ace Hardware, Citizens Bank, Morein Motors, Mercy Regional Medical Center, Kolder, Champagne, Slaven and Company, Edward Jones, Paul’s Meat Market and Cameron.

    The nominees for Business Person of the Year are Renee Brown of the Cock’s Tail, John DeVille for the Cajun Smokehouse, Dr. William Tojo Ward, David Manuel at Ville Platte Iron Works, Diana Reed, Mark Suellentrop at Cabot, Larry Lachney, Mayor Jennifer Vidrine,  Cody Vidrine at Ace Hardware, Mark Layne at KVPI , Randy Chapman at Evangeline Bank, Ronnie Landreneau and Trey Prudhomme at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
