ST. ROMAIN OIL FOOD DRIVE BIG SUCCESS

The St. Romain Oil Company Food Drive during the month of March was a big success for its first year, according to Nick St. Romain. The ten stores, which included Ville Platte Wash n Go Shell and the Y Not Stop Shell , raised $5000 in cash donations which the company matched with an additional $5,000 for a total of $10,000. The stores also collected 4410 pounds of food. All food collected will be distributed in the parish that it was collected. All of the money will be spent in the Central Louisiana area to help feed seniors and elementary aged children.
