The Evangeline Parish Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Memorial will be held on Monday, January 18th with parade line up beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Evangeline Parish Media Center.
10:00 a.m. Parade and the march begins to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Civic Center.
11:00 a.m. The Evangeline Parish Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Memorial Celebration begins.
Everyone is invited to attend and participate in the parade and the march with a sign or a sign on your vehicle.

The Louisana Swamp Pop Museum is operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and
Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos,records, Wall of Fame and hear the music.
Admission charge is $3 adults,
$2 seniors and $1 for children under 12.
The museum is located on
Northwest Railroad Avenue.
