KVPI News learned of a serious traffic accident yesterday afternoon on Hwy 167 N at Rigsby Manuel Rd. Traffic was being diverted away from the area as the wreckage was cleared.
According to the LA State Police, at approximately 4:20 p.m. they received the call of a three vehicle crash on US 167 near at Rigsby Manuel Road. Involved were:
Driver 1) Luther Messer of Ville Plate who sustained moderate injuries and has been Charged with No Seat Belt and Improper Turn;
Driver 2) Tiffany Jones of Ville Platte who sustained minor injuries and has been Charged with No Seat belt, No Child Restraint x2, and Expired License Plate; and
Driver 3) Richard McMurray of Ville Platte sustained No injuries and No charges have been filed.
